I specialize in reparing cracks, tears, scratches and other damage.
I can restore your old rare or valuable photographs without altering your original photo. I use a large digital copy of your photo to make the changes and then print you a new copy. It takes time and patience to do quality restoration but there are some photos that deserve special treatment. Photo restoration is similar to detailed painting or drawing and requires skill and attention to small details. I'm an artist and photographer and I appreciate detail and quality.

3 ways to send me your photo
me a large scanned copy of your photo, (around 1200 to 1600 pixels if possible).Mail me a CD with a large scanned copy of your photo (at least 900 X 1200 pixels)Send me the original photo by mail (which will be returned with your CD and prints) 
THINGS I CAN DO FOR YOUR PHOTOS:
I can repair most cracks, scratches, wrinkles, small holes, tears, bends, small spots, etc.
I can improve the contrast in most photos to give them a bit of a sharper look.
I can replace some missing sections such as the sky, ground, grass, or bushed as long as there is some in the photo to copy from.
I can remove the brown tone out of old black and white photos to make them look newer.
I can add the sepia tone brown tint to black and white photos to give them an old look.
I can increase the contrast in photos.
I can lighten photos if they are a bit too dark. This will not work if they are so dark that the details are lost.
I can darken photos if they are a bit too light. This will not work if they are so light that details are lost.

THINGS I CAN NOT DO:
I can't make a blurry photo focused.
I can't create missing details such as a persons face that is half gone etc.
I can't restore color or contrast to photos that uneven fading or have large stains on them.

PRICES
Every photo is different but here is a general idea of costs depending on work needed.
Simple lighting adjustments or a minor spot, tear, bend, wrinkle or scratch. - $40. - $60.Several spots, tears, bends, scratches, stains, or missing sections. ---------- $70. - $100.Extreme amounts of the above damages can require a lot of time to restore. - $100. +Once I see the photo, I can and give you an exact price.
Each restoration includes a CD with the large digitally restored image
and your choice of one of the following:
1 Print approximately -- 8 " X 10"
or
2 Prints approximately - 5" X 6 "
or
4 Prints approximately - 4" X 5"
They are printed on quality glossy photo paper and . Extra prints are available.

EXTRA PRINTS
Photos are of many different dimensions but these are the approximate sizes I offer prints in. They are inkjet printed on quality photo paper using the highest quality printer settings.
1 Print approximately -- 8 " X 10" --- $8.
2 Prints approximately - 5" X 6 " ----- $8.
4 Prints approximately - 4" X 5" ------$8.
Keep in mind when having larger prints made from small photos that if they are not very focused, the enlargement will magnify what it really looks like. Look at your photo with a good magnifying glass, if it seems a bit blurry, it may not be a good candidate for enlargement. Something to always consider.
Payment is required before I start the work.
I take photograph restoration seriously and always treat each photo with special consideration. I understand how important your photo is to you and will do everything I can to give it new life! Much of the work is a matter of digitally repainting in small areas, sometimes one pixel at a time so its not a quick easy process.
