Some stages of surface treatment I use on repousse
This is only one way I finish surfaces. There are many different ways to finish the metal.
After completing the embossing work I polished the surface, painted over the raised part of the design to protect it,
treated the surface with acid and then blued it with chemical bluing, removed the paint, then covered the surface with a protective finish.
